Obituary

Eric Holifield was an all around good guy. He always put his family and friends first.  He was a star athlete, and participated in every sport that he could. Those of us that knew him at BA, will always remember that he was a good friend that you wanted to have in your corner. He came to our 10 year reunion, and shortly afterwards he left this world on 8/22/99. He married his high school sweetheart Deneshia Westberry (8-26-95), and they have a son Brooks Holifield born on 3-17-00.  We are all better to have known him. He was from the class of 1990.

Byron Keene

Byron was a funny guy, until you said something about his friends or family. He wanted for us to get together for a reunion, but you know how busy life is The morning Cliff called and said Byron was gone, you know the feeling when time stands still We all experienced it One of our own was gone. It’s sort of strange but he put the wheels on motion for our class to come together for this reunion His greatest accomplishment in his life was the love of his one true love and his children He was and always will be a part of the greatest crew that BA ever produced and that was the class of  82

Stacey Phillips

Obituary

Many of you may remember Stacey Phillips (I will find an old picture "one day").  Stacey and I (I believe) were the last two kids that "held back" (repeat 8th grade).  A Brandon Academy "tradition" back in the day.  Stacey, moved on to finish High School at Jackson Academy.  Stacey, was a "true Brandon/Fannin" kid.  Incredible spirit, no fear attitutde, and just a great human.

I will provide further details as they become available.

Phillip was one of the sweetest people I've ever known.  He was a great friend to everyone he met.  He was loyal, kind, and funny.  He was a member of the Blues Brothers and loved to perform.  He graduated from BA in 1984.
